Solar Training
As residents at our regional training centers, women learn how to build and maintain solar electricity. Despite little-to-no formal education or literacy, the women receive hands-on education in assembling, installing, and maintaining solar panels and equipment. Past graduates become instructors. Our graduates not only gain a sustainable income and financial independence, but they return home to install clean, sustainable energy for their communities.
ENRICH
ENRICH is a life skills program designed to empower marginalized individuals, especially women and youth, by building the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to unlock their potential, improve their lives, and lead change in their communities.
Delivered through interactive and engaging training sessions, ENRICH is grounded in seven key impact areas: Leadership Skills, Social Equity, Financial Literacy, Health & Wellness, Digital Skills, Entrepreneurship Skills, and Sustainable Living. Each training, is thoughtfully adapted to reflect local cultures, needs, and realities to make it relevant, inclusive, and impactful across diverse global communities.
Livelihood Training
Women in the surrounding communities of our regional training centers are trained in specific skills to launch a business of their own. Our trainees cultivate honey, turmeric or coffee that is a fair-trade, sustainable B.Barefoot products. Empowering women with skill development and opportunities leads to better health, job market competitiveness, and resilience, contributing to economic growth and a more prosperous, resilient society.
