Barefoot College International education and wellness  department runs 13  digital night schools spread across 5 States and works with multiple formal schools on building 21st century life  skills. The department conducts multiple workshops  and  trainings  with  both formal and informal schools  to  improve  their  last  mile  classroom  delivery.  The Master Trainer  will  be  reporting  directly  to  the Project Manager in  the  Education  Department  of  Barefoot  College International,  and  shall  be  responsible  for  planning  and  conducting  training  workshops  across  various  States as need be. 

The person will be based in at Barefoot College international  in Harmara , Rajasthan. The person will also be required to travel to  Digital community schools as well as other locations  to conduct training on needs basis

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Strategizing, Planning and Conducting both offline and online  teachers’  training  for  BCI internal training team, Digital community schools and formal schools.Providing required support needed for teachers in the school and also for any  other  outreach project, as instructed by the program Lead or the Head of Education.
  • Have complete understanding of the diverse BCI Education curriculum so as to deliver teacher’s  training effectively in any topic. 
  • Assist teachers in incorporating new technology into their lessons  and promoto creation of localized content.
  • Provide feedback to teachers based on individual observation and student performance data. 
  • Build internal capacity of the training team on various training tools and methodologies.


  • Developing and improving the instructional materials. Stay informed of trends in instructional methods  and educational technology. 
  • Monitoring curriculum implementation and teacher development. 
  • Write grant proposals related to curriculum and instructional matters.
