Visiting Tilonia helps you understand the Barefoot approach first hand. It is an opportunity to see and absorb a different culture and see development efforts from the other side. The Barefoot experience could be a walk around the campus, or it could be a trip to see the solar electrification projects, water harvesting and purification systems, craft workshops, education programs and many other activities. Your tour may also include meetings and collaborations with Barefoot women solar engineers.
Here is how you can plan your visit:
To get started, take a look at the options below.
Next, please fill out our online form. We’ll contact you to confirm your visit request.
Day Visits: We always enjoy showing guests around campus for the day. Please be sure to confirm your visit date with us ahead of time. And don’t forget to notify someone at the Information Booth when you arrive on campus.
Overnight Stays: You are also invited to spend the night at Barefoot College, where you can see all our evening activities, such as our night school sessions. Overnight visits are restricted to 20 or fewer guests.
