Barefoot College’s rainwater harvesting structures constructed by barefoot architects with community contribution has been able to motivate households in constructing individual tanks.
Kalu Ram’s house in village aoo is one such tank that collects 5000-6000 litres of rainwater from its rooftop every monsoon and could be replenished by additional government water tankers.
